What an amazing Exeter Rainbow Run!

With 1700 runners, steel drummers, Storm Troopers, Heart FM and bouncy castles, this year’s Children’s Hospice South West’s Rainbow Run was the best yet!

As part of the 25th Anniversary celebrations for the charity, the run started with silver streamers and the record number of participants enjoyed a madcap, mayhem of riotous colour as they ran through the paint stations along the course.

Jayne Jarrett, events fundraiser at the hospice said: ‘Wow, what a day! To have a record number of runners in our 25th year has been incredible. The atmosphere was just amazing and we hope everyone has enjoyed it as much as we have.’

The charity is hoping to raise over £65,000 from the event which is held at Exeter Racecourse, and is now firmly established as its flagship event in the region. And don’t worry if you missed out on the fun this year, registration will be open for the 2017 run from Thursday 16th June. For full details, please see www.chsw.org.uk/rainbowexeter

Early-bird registration costs just £15 for adults and £10 for children aged 5 – 15, plus a family of four can register for £40.
