National honours for Hendy Group

Hendy Group, which operates new and used car sales operations in Exeter, has been recognised for its outstanding used car operations at the Car Dealer Awards.

The awards recognise companies large and small operating in the used car market and Hendy was honoured with the Used Car Dealership Group of the Year title at this year’s awards.

Used Car sales director Simon Palmer who collected the award on behalf of the group said he was thrilled to win such a prestigious title.

“We are committed to providing the very best service to customers at our used car operations throughout Devon, Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex and Kent and we are delighted that this has been recognised by the industry,’’ he said.

“This award is for everyone who has worked so hard to ensure that the Hendy name is synonymous with quality used cars.”

The company, which added the Lifestyle group to its portfolio this year, has 19 used car outlets including the award-winning Hendy Car Store in Exeter.

The Hendy Group, which has its head office in Hampshire operates 12 motor franchises at 25 locations in Hampshire, Sussex, Surrey, Kent and Devon with annual turnover set to reach £600 million.
