A young Crediton-based estate agent from the long-established firm of Helmores is celebrating after winning the Expert Communicator Award.

Junior Sales Negotiator Amy Salter received the major regional prize at The Property Sharing Experts Gala Awards ceremony; it recognised her excellent skills in matching people to property.

Phil Morgan, Partner and Owner of Helmores Estate Agents said; “We are delighted that Amy has been presented with this well-deserved award. She is one of the youngest members of our team but her attention to detail and ability to obtain accurate information from clients is exemplary and a key aspect of the smooth and successful sales for which Helmores is well-known.”

The Property Sharing Experts awards were set up to recognise and celebrate individual staff members in the Property Sharing Experts network of estate agents across the Westcountry, which has more than 80 member offices in Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset and Bristol.

The event was attended by 200 guests at Woodbury Park near Exeter and compered by BBC personality Alan Dedicoat, best known as “the voice of the balls” on BBC1’s National Lottery and Strictly Come Dancing. Amy received a bottle of champagne and £200 to spend in a weekend hotel break anywhere in the UK.

Phil added; “Amy has been an asset to the team here since she joined us in 2013, and is well known by everyone in the area as she was born and brought up in Crediton. We are incredibly proud of all of our staff here at Helmores, but for Amy to receive additional recognition for the excellent role she plays just adds to the triple success we won at The Sunday Times Estate Agent of the Year awards.”
